Studio Enterprise 3.2 Compatibility

Studio Enterprise 3.2 includes a performance patch for earlier versions of Studio Enterprise and addresses compatibility with supported versions of Windows Server. If you are using Studio Enterprise 3.1 and below, we recommend upgrading to Studio Enterprise 3.2. For more information, see How to upgrade to Studio Enterprise 3.2.

Operating Systems

Bluebeam Studio Enterprise is supported on the following operating systems:

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2022
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2019
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2016

Microsoft .NET Framework

Bluebeam Studio Enterprise requires the installation of the following .NET Framework versions for each server OS version:

Microsoft SQL Server

Bluebeam Studio Enterprise is compatible with the following SQL Server Database Management Systems:

Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)

Bluebeam Studio Enterprise is compatible with the IIS 10.

Microsoft Message Queue (MSMQ)

Bluebeam Studio Enterprise requires the installation of MSMQ.

SMTP Email Server

Bluebeam Studio Enterprise requires access to an email account on a SMTP server that will be used to send invitations and other communication to Session hosts and attendees. For more information, including configuration information, see the “SMTP Email Server” section of the Studio Enterprise Installation and Configuration Guide.

Certificate Requirements and Deployment

Bluebeam Studio Enterprise and Revu clients use SSL certificate–based authentication to encrypt the data connection. All Revu clients are required to have a certificate installed that allows them to authenticate Studio Enterprise. Likewise, Studio Enterprise requires that certificate to operate.

Bluebeam Studio Enterprise is certified to work with the following Bluebeam products:

  • Revu 20 and above
  • Revu and Vu iPad 3.7 and above

Hardware Requirements

Hardware requirements are based on a number of factors, including the expected number of simultaneous Studio Sessions, the number and size of PDFs for Studio Sessions, and markups in Studio Sessions and Studio Projects.
