Relevant Products
Problem
Your drawing gets highlighted in blue whenever you try to take a measurement.
Why Does This Happen?
This happens because the document contains at least one pre-existing Viewport which defines the scale and units of measurement. If the entire page turns blue, it means there are multiple overlapping viewports which should be removed.
Solution
You can remove the unwanted Viewports by following the steps listed below:
- Expand the Viewports section of the Measurements tab.
- Click the Clear Viewports or Clear All button to remove all of the viewports on that page.
- Change the scale in the top Scale section of the Measurement tab by entering a new scale or calibrating the drawing.
